If there is one thing #SerieReis has had, it is war! These are always the most decisive moments, especially when they arrive unexpectedly, as in the final episode of season twelve. About this battle, described in 2 Chronicles 14:9-14, general director Rudi Lagemann shares:

*‘There is an enormous battle at the beginning of Season 13, on an epic scale. One million Ethiopians fight against 500 thousand soldiers from Asa’s army. To convey the full grandeur of this event, filming is taking place in two countries, with hundreds of extras, stunt performers, and professionals from various fields involved in a Herculean effort to give viewers something unforgettable!’*

And for anyone who thought only Asa had a great challenge ahead, the director presents one you had not imagined: ‘Besides doing justice to the excellent, intricate sequences in the written script, we must do so during a period of unpredictable weather, requiring the crew to overcome the difficulties imposed by the climate every day.’

Premiering in February, the final season of Reis has been overcoming its challenges and bringing to life all the surprises that will soon be revealed.
