Asking people outside a church about Jesus’ return practically tells you they are not awaiting Him… But what about inside the church?

The question becomes more interesting, because we imagine an entire people sharing the same expectation of seeing their Lord and Savior again.

When we take this question into research, look at the results:

- 36% - Pre-tribulationists, who believe He will return before the tribulation;

- 4% - Mid-tribulationists, who believe He will return during the tribulation;

- 18% - Post-tribulationists, who believe He will return after the tribulation;

13% - Other timing variations;

4% - Unsure;

25% - Do not believe in the literal return of the Lord Jesus.

This question is very valuable to true Christians. Hence so much confusing information in theological circles that diminishes the subject’s importance.

Awaiting the Lord Jesus means being a church ready for this reunion and to be in the special place He has prepared for His people.

Many Christians are inattentive to this subject.

### WHERE DOES IT SPEAK OF JESUS’ RETURN?

‘…I am going to prepare a place for you, and when everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.’ (John 14:2-3 NVT)

### WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN JESUS RETURNS?

Talking about Jesus’ return also means talking about the end of the world, which frightens many who do not understand or leads others to ignore it as a fable.

Eschatology is not a simple subject, but it can be understood with a Bible study guide.

We recommend *A Terra Vai Pegar Fogo*, written by Renato Cardoso, which offers an in-depth, chapter-by-chapter study of the world’s most mysterious biblical book: Revelation. You can find it by [**clicking here**](https://arcacenter.com.br/aterravaipegarfogo_2021).

### HOW SHOULD WE AWAIT JESUS’ RETURN?

When church members understand this commitment, they finally reach the expected spiritual level, going far beyond religiosity to a life converted and transformed by the Holy Spirit.

In the documentary *Antes da Ira*, available here on Univer, we understand historically, through Galilean wedding traditions, the truth of the Lord Jesus’ return and some of its mysteries, such as: Why do we not know when Jesus will return?
