### **Why watch the film Até o Último Homem?**

"Até o Último Homem" is a powerful film directed by Mel Gibson that stands out in the war drama genre, presenting a true story of faith, courage and pacifism amid the horrors of World War II.

Released in 2016, the film tells the story of Desmond Doss, who enlists in the American army but refuses to kill or even carry a weapon.

Doss faces severe adversity and persecution from his own fellow soldiers and army superiors because of his beliefs.

However, his unwavering faith and determination to serve his country without compromising his moral principles are explored in depth in the film, providing a moving and inspiring narrative.

Despite refusing to bear arms, he demonstrates extraordinary bravery by saving the lives of 75 wounded men, dragging them one by one to safety under enemy fire.

"Até o Último Homem" is more than a war film; it is a reflection on morality, the ethics of war and the power of individual conviction.
