You may insist otherwise, but surely you have wasted time in your life, right? Then you have chased the wind. Watching ‘*Uma Canção Para Ela*’ makes us think about how many winds we have chased, and that helps!

Imagine living the life of the main character Jed King, who realizes that everything he is building in his music career is going nowhere.

He tries — believe me, he tries — but cannot endure for long. That is why this brilliant film helps us.

He had his father’s terrible example, having stained his entire career with addictions and infidelities, and that should have been enough for Jed to choose another path. We have many bad examples around us, but do we learn from all of them?

Seeing mistakes without learning from them is chasing the wind. Is that your situation? Then this film is for you.

### **Consequences**

Rose, the daughter of a vineyard owner, believed Jed’s words, married him, and let everything happen naturally, as if a song he wrote for her were stronger than the consequences.

She knew Ecclesiastes chapter three and could have remembered there was a time for everything. Jed is not innocent, but she could have set her painful marriage on a different path.

You know, we would not chase the wind if we did not forget life’s consequences.

### **Wisdom**

Jed finally applied the wisdom he asked God for, the same wisdom King Solomon possessed but did not apply to his own life.

We have examples in the mistakes of a Jewish king, our parents, our friends, and our own reflection. Be wise and apply what is right in your life without reflecting others’ mistakes, because God gives you that chance.
