### Why watch A Terra Prometida?

The story is based on biblical events and continues ‘Os Dez Mandamentos’, another successful production available on Univer Vídeo.

The telenovela follows the Hebrews, led by Moses’s successor Joshua, in their mission to conquer Canaan as promised by God.

The story begins after Moses’s death, when Joshua takes leadership of the Israelites and faces the challenge of guiding his people across the Jordan River and past Jericho’s walls.

The plot combines faith, epic battles, and intrigue, bringing iconic biblical characters and their stories of courage and perseverance to life.

The conquest of Jericho, one of the Bible’s most iconic moments, is portrayed with great realism and emotion, emphasizing faith and obedience to divine commands.

Besides historical and religious elements, ‘A Terra Prometida’ explores universal themes such as love, betrayal, revenge, and redemption.

The production stands out for its high-quality sets and special effects, recreating ancient Canaan and bringing the great battles and miracles of Scripture to life.

It not only entertains but teaches important biblical passages, making Joshua and the Hebrew people’s story accessible to a new generation of viewers.
