The eighth season of Reis recently premiered on Univer Vídeo, with many changes to its dynamics.

Starting with extra, exclusive scenes in season eight of Reis, which will be added to episodes only for Univer Vídeo subscribers.

The shift in characters has brought fresh movement to the eighth season of Reis, which previously focused entirely on David's wives.

Now they are older and more mentally mature (although their youthful nature sometimes slips out), and the focus turns to their children, who are adults.

WHO ARE KING DAVID'S CHILDREN?

Although he has many children, the eighth season of Reis highlights five of them.

  • Amnon
  • Absalom
  • Tamar
  • Adonijah
  • Solomon

Season Eight of Reis: What You Need to KnowAMNON, THE UNTAMABLE REBEL

In the previous season, we see David, during his fall, blaming Amnon for Queliabe's death. This affected him from an early age, to the point that when his father made things right with God, he could not restore his relationship with his firstborn to what it had been.

At the very beginning of season eight of Reis, after a time jump of several years, Amnon and David have a major confrontation, and the prince recalls his father's words about Queliabe's death.

With great patience, David again tries to reconcile with his son at the beginning of season eight of Reis. After much struggle, this time he obtains the forgiveness he fought so hard to receive.

However, the spoiled firstborn cannot stay out of trouble and soon falls in love with his own sister, Tamar.

Unfortunately, this passion will lead to many atrocities in season eight of Reis, including deaths and a family war. The young victim will forever carry scars inflicted by her own brother.

TAMAR, THE INNOCENT

The only girl growing up among the boys, Tamar was always left out by her brothers during childhood. Deeply loved by her father, the princess was spoiled by all the servants and the king's wives in the palace.

When she grows up in season eight of Reis, we see that she has become a very beautiful woman, which draws considerable attention from her older half-brother, Amnon.

However, her sweetness and innocence lead to her being deceived, and Tamar, so young, falls into a trap that will change her life forever.

ABSALOM, THE TRAITOR

Influenced by Ahithophel since childhood, Absalom learned to become a model ruler. Even as a child, it was clear that he acted differently from all his brothers. Indifferent to his father's attention, he spent all his time beside his adviser.

David did not notice at first, but in season eight of Reis there will be no doubt: Absalom was trained to betray his own father.

Sent to serve as minister in Hebron, he will work tirelessly and make many political alliances, but this will bring major problems for King David.

When a tragedy befalls his sister in season eight of Reis, he will clearly show how he acts toward an enemy.

Subtly, he will wait for the right moment to attack and begin a family war.

SEASON EIGHT OF REIS: ADONIJAH, THE CONSPIRATOR

At the beginning of season eight of Reis, you may even think Adonijah is a good son, unlike Amnon and Absalom. Later, however, you will see that he thirsts to inherit his father's throne just as much as the others.

His main “enemy” will be Solomon, chosen by God to reign. Even after Solomon forgives some of his older brother's schemes, Adonijah will continue trying to defy David's successor and conspire to become king.

SOLOMON, THE ONE NO ONE BELIEVED IN

Imagine yourself in Solomon's place. Everyone considered him the product of a sin, and he also received all the hatred people felt toward Bathsheba.

His older brothers hated him and his mother because, in their minds, the arrival of that woman who had been another man's wife had completely changed the king.

Bathsheba tried to compensate for her sin by giving her husband her full attention, and Solomon did not want to be a bother.

Young Solomon felt the smallest and weakest. At certain moments in season eight of Reis, he even felt less loved by his father than the other children.

But God loved him greatly, and even when he forgot this, God did not. At the right moment, Solomon was honored by Him despite so many conspiracies against him.

MORE ABOUT SEASON EIGHT OF REIS

While David's children are at the center of a family war about to erupt, some characters will experience both positive and negative turns in their lives in season eight of Reis.

Some of David's wives, however, will reap the consequences of their promiscuous actions, while others will repent of their mistakes and change their lives.

Years after David and Bathsheba's sin, she will continue trying to make up for everything in search of redemption.

However, even with God's forgiveness, in season eight of Reis Bathsheba will suffer greatly from the judgment of people who do not forget the scandal.

With humility in his heart, David will accept everything that comes as a consequence of sin, without trying to fight it, defend himself or justify himself.

Even if humiliated before men, David will accept each event and see God in everything, because he has what matters most: inner peace after true repentance.
