# Templo de Salomão - its first decade and history with Univer Vídeo

Since July 2014, it has been impossible to pass along Avenida Celso Garcia without noticing the splendor and grandeur of the Templo de Salomão.

Located in Brás, in eastern São Paulo, the Temple marks 10 years in July 2024. It has been 10 years since the ‘House of all peoples’, as it is known, first opened its doors to thousands from Brazil and worldwide.

Its 40 thousand meters of stone brought from Hebron, Israel, its height of 56 meters, and its width of 104 meters impress anyone passing by.

With a modern cistern system beneath the floor and in some columns, all rainwater is stored for reuse. This earned the Templo de Salomão Leadership in Energy and Evironmental Design (LEED) certification, awarded only to projects seeking to value the environment.

Inside, the grandeur and richness of detail continue. From ceiling to altar, the sacred elements were designed so each person can have a unique experience with God.

But beyond the impressive stones and dimensions, what truly makes the Temple even greater is its purpose of saving lives.

Over its 10 years, millions have visited this sacred place and had their lives renewed in ways they could never have imagined.

During its first 10 years, however, the Temple was the subject of various false reports.

Soon after its inauguration, several media outlets reported that admission required payment or formal attire, which was nothing but fake news.
