Tetelestai is a Greek expression meaning “it is finished.” Papyrus tax receipts from the time of Christ have been found bearing this word, meaning “paid” or “settled.”

*“When He had tasted it, Jesus said: ‘It is finished!’ With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30)*

While on the cross, in His final word, Jesus declared that our debt had been paid. He fulfilled the mission given to Him by the Father to free us from our sins and give us the opportunity for Salvation.

With archaeological discoveries and astonishing fulfillments of prophecy, the Bible is not only a reliable historical account but the Book that reveals the God you were created to know.

Ep. 02 – The Promise

Communion with God is broken when Adam and Eve sin. He, however, promises to send a Deliverer who will pay the price to restore the relationship between God and humanity.

Ep. 04 – Deliverance

By freeing His people from slavery, God demonstrates that He alone is God. During the tenth plague, the only way to escape death points to the future deliverance of a world enslaved by sin and death.

Ep. 05 – The Law

When God reveals His commandments on Mount Sinai, the moral standard they reveal acts as a mirror to show the sin inherent in the human heart and leads people to realize that their only hope lies in the promised Deliverer.

Ep. 07 – Lamb of God

God Himself takes human form and comes into the world to be the Deliverer: Jesus. As an adult, Jesus is proclaimed the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Ep. 08 – Messiah

With supernatural powers over demons, diseases, nature and even death, Jesus proves that He is not only the Messiah but God Himself. He reaches out to people with a love unlike any other.

Ep. 09 – Salvation

In a frank conversation about eternal life, Jesus shows the inadequacy of human efforts. The danger of rejecting the life He offers is a sad reality seen in the story of the one who chooses eternal death.

Ep. 10 – It Is Finished

Jesus is the final sacrifice. On the cross, He cries out: “Tetelestai!”, proclaiming the defeat of our enemy, the restoration of our relationship with God and hope for all humanity.
