More than introducing the characters, the first official poster for Amor em Ruínas foreshadows the story's essence. Every visual element was designed to reflect the setting, conflicts and kind of love the series proposes.

The strong, warm colors of the new Amor em Ruínas poster represent the sin that abounded in Samaria—and Gomer emerges as a direct product of this environment marked by appearances, excess and greed 🔥

In contrast, the lavender flowers interrupt this intense atmosphere. Lilac balances the scene and symbolizes the prophet Hosea: someone who, despite living amid a corrupt society, remained faithful to his principles, continuing to exude God's fragrance—including in the way he loved the wife given to him 🪻

The sun's rays burn incessantly, as if God's presence remained there even in the face of such decline ☀️ The ruins, meanwhile, reinforce that behind all the wealth and glamour, everything is falling apart—losing strength, value and permanence.

The characters' positioning also speaks volumes: Hosea faces her. He wants to fight, stay and persist.

Gomer, however, appears with her face slightly turned away. She knows what he wants to offer, knows what lies within that love—but deep down, she still resists the sacrifices that a life beside him demands.
